When Bad Things Happen to Good Practitioners

This live PowerPoint presentation is approved by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc for two hours of ethics training. 

In a two-hour live presentation, participants learn how unsuspecting practitioners  sometimes find themselves involved in the CFP Board disciplinary process. Using real-life examples we describe financial planning situations that started out with the best intentions but end as ethical violations. The program includes a comprehensive review of CFP Board's disciplinary process.

The presentation concludes with nine recommendations that you as a CFP® practitioner can use in your practice everyday.

There is an opportunity for you to ask questions and discuss the issues raised in the presentation.
