Dan Candura, CFP® is a leader in the financial planning profession and has been quoted in USA Today, Investment News, The Journal of Financial Planning, Bloomberg’s Wealth Manager and other publications. He is featured on the PBS documentary Retirement Revolution airing nationwide in March 2008.

A frequent speaker, he presented hundreds of seminars and workshops across the country on topics ranging from the basics of financial planning to the future of quality within the financial services industry. Candura served on the Board of Directors of The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. and is a past Chair of the Board of Professional Review. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association. He was a founding member and Co-Chair of the Sales and Marketing Quality Council of The Conference Board. He is qualified as an FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator.

In December 1999, Ticker Magazine named Dan as an Honorable Mention in their annual Ace Advisor selection – one of only ten advisors recognized for their innovation and commitment to clients. In October 2000, the Journal of Financial Planning profiled Dan in a feature article.

A 1971 graduate of Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts, Dan entered financial services after a career as an educator and administrator. He earned a Masters Degree from Bridgewater State College in 1975 and received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1987. He lives in Braintree, Massachusetts with his wife, Marie. They have four children.
